The Greater Chicago Market Report (GCMR) provides up to the minute information reported directly by builder-members about activity taking place on their projects. Currently, about 40 builders report on over 200 projects throughout the Suburban Chicago Region. Each detailed record includes the name, location, housing type, number of units, price range, and size range of the models. The builders provide a weekly tally of Traffic, Deposits, and Contracts from each sales office. A summary table and graphs illustrate the market trends at the end of each report. The GCMR is available only through a subscription service billed by the Home Builders Association of Greater Chicago (HBAGC). It is a sales and marketing tool for builders, bankers, mortgage companies, and sales/marketing agencies. It is a valuable resource for keeping up to date with the current market. The report is produced weekly and faxed or emailed out every Monday overnight. The annual fee of $500 includes the 52 Weekly Reports, 4 Quarterly Summaries, and the Annual Report. The annual fee can be pro-rated for the remaining weeks at the time of subscription.
